We aspire to prepare community health change agents who not only serve their communities using evidence-based best practices in medicine, but who also take on leadership roles, engage in research and awareness raising, and actively seek out solutions to transform primary care in Armenia with the aim of improving healthcare outcomes for all.
Health For Armenia is dedicated to transforming healthcare in Armenia by developing leaders, fostering innovation, and advancing systems to ensure equitable access to quality healthcare for all.
We work to improve primary care in Armenia, particularly in rural areas, by closing the gap between the needs of underserved communities and the knowledge and skills of primary care physicians.
We also aim to foster trust in the primary care system among the population and establish a resilient alumni network of healthcare leaders to fortify Armenia's healthcare system. To this end, we train effective and engaged healthcare transformation champions who will improve the health of the communities they serve and in doing so strengthen the primary care system.
